not…really? she’s either bi or she’s not, and that doesn’t change with her level of intoxication
thing that are more likely to be happening when a “straight girl” looks like she’s “turning bisexual” when drunk
- she’s thinking maybe she likes girls and she’s relaxed + confident enough to act on feelings she’s been having that she’s too nervous to act usually
- she knows she likes girls but she hasn’t told anybody (or anybody at th party), but she’s confident enough to act on her feelings
- she’s openly bi, but people around her assumed she was straight and that she’s just “acting bi” at this party because she’s drunk
- she think she’s straight but there’s a girl she’s able to kiss at a party and she figures why not and ends up thinking huh, i enjoyed that more than i expected and starts questioning her sexuality (which is a win against heteronormativity)
- she think she’s straight but there’s a girl she’s able to kiss at a party and she figures why not and ends up thinking nah, i’m i’m definitely straight (which is still a win against heteronormativity tbh, let’s normalise people exploring their sexualty to confirm they’re actually straight instead of just assuming they are)
- she’s actually got the opportunity to kiss a girl in a casual context bc lets be honest, where else does that happen? if you’re not sure you like girls, its pretty weird to like…just kiss a girl randomly in a cafe or something, or ask a girl out on a date hoping you like her, but at a party, where it’s not super surprising to see people kissing?
- probably other situaitions but i can’t be bothered thinking of more
